Has it really been that long? @.@

in any case, a lot has happened since I did last update. I'm of course at school, and thus am overwhelmed with homework and the like. My first semester was a total failure, so I hope I can pick up from there. I should have tried harder in high school. I couldn't possibly have prepared enough for the workload that I receive in college. My uber emo previous journal entry was of course pointless. I ended up just asking my parents to lend me the money that I needed to pay for my first semester. My dad told me to pay him back when I'm successful.

corny, I know. But this is my dad we're talking about here.

I've got a steady part-time job working at the college as a staff reporter for the student newspaper of CNM. Journalism is a *very* interesting field. I might consider it... or something. That's another thing. I still can't decide what I want to major in. I've been recently thinking though... perhaps I should drop this whole art idea and keep it as a hobby. Because I *still* absolutely without question love to draw. But I doubt that it's ever going to take me anywhere. I am still passionately involved with the sciences. I took biology this last semester, and passed it with flying colours. Perhaps I can get past the math somehow, and pursue my dream of earning a doctorate in the sciences. I can do that, and perhaps later earn my MFA. I dunno, it's a really big decision, and it's got big implications. I really have to think more on it before I seriously decide.

Aaaanyway. I've still been drawing, but I haven't had much of a chance to upload any of it here onto dA... mostly because it takes a lot of effort just to upload one bloody thing I've been told that I improved by leaps and bounds from last year, when I first joined dA. So maybe you all can give me an opinion about that when I upload a few things in a few mins.

I think that's about all I have to rant about.

Well, Fall semester at Technical Vocational Institute is looking EXTREMELY distant right about now. My aunt put off taking me to TVI yet AGAIN, wrong information was entered for my Dad, so he cannot possibly get his Pin to sign my FAFSA by this evening; I cannot apply for any jobs nearby because they are all too damned far away and I am not in shape to be riding my bike all over the city. Don't have a license, because that requires money, which requires a job....

*sigh*

And if I do have to wait for the spring semester, I won't be elligible for quite a few scholarships. Damned beurocracy. it makes things so very difficult. Can't get a job unless you go here specifically before this time. You can't get any money for college unless you fill out this form, and get your parents to sign the form by this specific time. And if you don't do that you need to see this specific guy before this specific date....

I understand deadlines. But I don't understand why things have to be so complex. It's not even very efficient for being so complex.

dammit. dammit. dammit.

I got a new Apple PowerBook G4!!!! TigerOS X ... and I'm thrilled. Though I've not touched a Mac since I was in Kindergarten or something ... I finally have my own computer! ^_^

I'm doing a lot of exploring of it right now, since I have no idea what it can do, or what I can do with it. It's actually pretty fun. Anyway, I just thought I'd share that with you all ^_^

I haven't been up to much really. Heh, I'm graduated, I'm OBLIGATED to do nothing for at least a little bit

I've been drawing quite a bit actually, but no scanner, I can't show you PUrrhaps when I start school again, or this summer I'll have something else to show you.
